trials & hard seasons.

It can be really easy to do a few things in harder seasons:

- Put on a mask to make it seem like nothing is wrong

- Be angry with God

- Question everything that is going on

- Be ANYTHING but joyful

James tells us in the first chapter of his letter that we are to be joyful in the midst of trials and how the testing of our faith produces steadfastness. I go into what this means as well as the rest of this section of "testing your faith" and what that truly means.

After you do this, I would encourage you to go to my "On the Throne" post from almost a year ago. It goes into more depth about this topic as well as the lessons I was learning when I was doing everything I listed above. My most recent post on Instagram also talks about that as well. Hope any or all of this is encouraging.

Go to Him in all things. Some seasons are harder, but all seasons are good because God places us there. Every good thing comes from Him (James 1:17). Trust that what may not seem good in your mind is truly good. Nothing bad comes from God, REST in that.

God's got it, don't be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication make your requests known to Him (Philippians 4:6).

I've been there. You will make it out because God has His hand on you. His plan did not change just because yours did. He is surprised by nothing nor will He condemn you for anything if you are in Christ. Grace is extended to you. Seek Him. Rest in Him. God's got it.
